Hamilton at a loss: “It messes you up”

Big disappointment for record Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton! It was nowhere near enough for a top position in qualifying in Australia on Saturday. "This inconsistency in the car really messes you up," moaned Hamilton. 

There is a "long list" of problems. "I think our car is a bit on a knife-edge. When the wind picks up, the car becomes much more unstable," said Hamilton.

Wolff: "Very bad"
Team boss Toto Wolff described the result as "really bad". "It's simply not satisfactory."

George Russell finished seventh in the second "Silver Arrow".
