Match point for the Tyroleans
The double volleyball final is within reach
Both top Tyrolean volleyball teams have match point in their semi-final series on Saturday - the TI girls want to win the best-of-3 series at Sokol/Post in Vienna early on. The Hypo men have the same goal in the fourth game of the best-of-five duel at Aich/Dob.
The TI women's season so far is almost unbeatable. They have won the Supercup and Cup, the first titles in the club's history. The first championship would be the icing on the cake. "The season is already so great. Reaching the final would be mega cool," said opener Christina Plattner.
We hope that we won't need the home game on Tuesday.

Fully motivated for Vienna
The Innsbruck team will be fully motivated when they travel to Vienna on Saturday. With the 3:0 from the home game behind them, they want to make everything clear at Sokol/Post (4.30 pm). "That will give us that extra push! We hope that we won't need the home game on Tuesday," said the 28-year-old.
"We'll keep to our rhythm and take the train early again. We wouldn't have been able to get a hall for the final training session in Vienna, so there's no point in traveling the day before," explained manager Michael Falkner. Ideally, the Tyroleans will win 3:0 and catch the train home on time.
Ready for the big fight
The men from Hypo Tirol traveled to Bleiburg by bus the day before and trained on Saturday morning in the JUFA Arena. In the evening (7 pm) it will get loud. The Aich/Dob fans always create a great atmosphere.
"We're ready for a big fight against the opponent and the crowd, we have to focus on ourselves," said coach Stefan Chrtiansky: "The series is exciting from the very first game, the intensity is very high. That will be the case again this time."
With the lead behind them
With the 2:1 lead, it is a little easier for the Tyroleans, they want to win, the Carinthians have to. Otherwise the season will be over for Aich/Dob. "They'll certainly get up for it and take full risk. The first set will be essential. If we win that, the pressure will be even greater for them," explained captain Niklas Kronthaler ahead of the first match point.
Both Tyrolean teams can secure their place in the final early on.
