Contract extended! Zak Brown at McLaren until 2030

McLaren Managing Director Zak Brown has extended his contract until 2030. This was announced by the Formula 1 team ahead of the Australian Grand Prix on Friday. The American joined the McLaren Group at the end of 2016 after the legendary Ron Dennis was forced to step down as McLaren boss by the shareholders following a power struggle. 

"I am thrilled to be leading McLaren Racing forward and to be part of such a historic racing team," said Brown.

Last season, McLaren finished fourth in the constructors' championship. Lando Norris from England and the Australian Oscar Piastri drive for the racing team, which has been constructors' champion eight times. The team principal is the Italian Andrea Stella.
