Dead cat near Tannheim was probably poisoned

Horrific discovery in a wooded area in Tannheim in Tyrol (Reutte district): A woman discovered a dead cat as well as dead buzzards. The carcasses were subsequently examined: The result: the cat could have been poisoned.

Last week, a passer-by discovered a dead cat and two dead buzzards during a walk in a wooded area next to the Berger Ache near the so-called Schönblick. The woman immediately informed the police.

Police ask for information
"After extensive investigations and an examination of the carcasses, it is suspected that the cat was poisoned," the police now say. They are asking for any useful information, which will be treated confidentially on request (Tel. [phone]).
