Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are now officially divorced. The 30-year-old pop singer and the 28-year-old real estate agent have now finalized their divorce after almost three years of marriage. The singer has to pay her ex 1.25 million dollars for the expensive divorce.

Ariana filed for divorce from her former partner six months ago, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the ex-couple's split.

According to reports from Sky News, the agreement was finalized by a court in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 19.

Expensive divorce for Grande
As part of her settlement, the pop star made a one-off payment of 1.25 million US dollars to her ex-husband, with the real estate agent also receiving half of the profits from the sale of her former home in Los Angeles. In addition, Ariana was ordered to pay up to 25,000 US dollars for Dalton's legal fees.

One of the most "challenging" years of their lives
The former couple began dating in 2020, but split in February 2023. Grande had previously described 2023 as one of the "most challenging" years of her life.

The "Thank U, Next" artist split from Dalton last year and also filmed the new "Wicked" movie in 2023, which will be released in November.

Ariana announced on her Instagram account: "This has been one of the most transformative, challenging, yet happy and special years of my life. There have been so many beautiful yet polarized feelings. I've never felt so exposed and accepting of what life was trying to teach me. I have never felt more fulfilled or present in my work and able to appreciate every moment. I gave it everything I had."
