Lost control: driver injured in rollover
Spectacular traffic accident on Monday evening in the Tyrolean Oberland: A Ukrainian (22) lost control of his car in Telfs (Innsbruck-Land district), whereupon it overturned and came to rest in an adjacent field. The young man suffered serious injuries.
The serious accident occurred shortly before 8 pm. The 22-year-old Ukrainian was driving his car on the B189 Mieminger Straße in the direction of Telfs when, according to the police, he lost control of the vehicle due to the rain-soaked road.
The car was totaled.

"The car then left the road, overturned and ultimately came to a standstill in the adjacent field," said the police.

The Ukrainian driver suffered serious injuries in the accident. After receiving first aid at the scene, he was taken to the Innsbruck hospital by ambulance. The car was totaled.
