Taylor Swift would have the power to stop Trump

For Rod Stewart, the US musician Taylor Swift is "astronomical". He believes she alone has the power to stop Donald Trump after all.

The 79-year-old told the Düsseldorf newspaper "Rheinische Post" on Tuesday. "She has the biggest tour of all time. So far, the Stones have always had that," he said.

He also likes "the idea that she says: We must not vote for Trump. She would have the power."

There have been heated debates for some time about whether the pop star could once again support Democrat Joe Biden, as she did in 2020.

So far, the 34-year-old has not done so - but has urged her supporters to vote.

Brit Stewart, who recently released the album "Swing Fever", is touring this spring. Swift's "The Eras Tour" is considered the most successful concert series in music history and generated unprecedented demand.
