Two mopeds were tested at speeds of more than 80 km/h

It's actually still too cold to be whizzing around on a moped: a patrol from the Gmunden police station had its sights set on tuned mopeds on Sunday afternoon. Some young offenders were promptly caught. Two of the "Hendlstauber" were tuned and traveling at more than 80 km/h.

A patrol from the Gmunden police station carried out checks on Sunday afternoon with a particular focus on technically modified mopeds. A number of tuned mopeds were detected. The two fastest mopeds measured on the test stand reached a speed of 80 km/h.

The result:
two license plates were provisionally confiscated, 17 reports for various administrative violations, one organ mandate and four applications for special inspection of the vehicle.
