Svindal’s mistress wants to go to the Olympics as a mom!

What an ambitious goal: Amalie Iuel, lover and fiancée of former ski hero Aksel Lund Svindal, wants to make her comeback to athletics just a few months after the birth of her son Storm - and qualify for the Olympic Games! 

"Going to the Olympics ten months after giving birth would be a big bonus. But everything has to be right for that," says the 29-year-old Norwegian, who is almost 12 years younger than Svindal, according to media reports from her home country

However, things haven't really been that harmonious in recent months: pelvic pain and a hernia during pregnancy and minor aches and pains afterwards meant that the athlete returned to training later than expected.

Iuel gave birth to little Storm on September 1, 2023, by Caesarean section - and a few weeks later, former ski hero Aksel Lund Svindal proposed to her.

If, despite all her efforts, the hurdler (400 m) fails to qualify for the European Championships in Rome (June 7-12) and/or the Olympic Games in Paris (July 26 to August 12), the wedding to her Aksel will undoubtedly be a not unpleasant "consolation prize" ...
