Skier breaks collarbone and ribs

A day of skiing ended painfully for a winter sports enthusiast in Silvretta Montafon on Thursday. He collided with a female skier on piste 51, on the approach to the Nova-Bahn and Madrisella-Bahn valley stations, and suffered several fractures. 

The crash, in which the winter sports enthusiast suffered a key fracture and rib fracture, occurred at around 12.30 pm. The skier involved left the scene of the accident after the injured man stated that he did not need any help. 

In order to clarify the exact cause of the accident, the police are looking for the person involved and any witnesses. They are asked to contact the police in Gaschuren on 059/133-8103.
