Drunk man threatened to kill sales clerk
A drunk man tried to steal food from a department store in Klagenfurt on Thursday evening. When he was prevented from doing so by employees, he threatened to kill them.
At around 6.10 p.m. on Thursday, the police received a report of a rowdy person in a department store in Klagenfurt. When the officers arrived at the scene, two employees were already busy restraining a man so that he did not flee.
Scuffle in the checkout area
The man from Klagenfurt had previously attempted to leave the checkout area of the store with stolen food, using force. "This led to a scuffle, during which the man threatened to kill the employees," said the police.
The 20-year-old was asked several times by the police officers to stop his behavior and follow them, but this made him even more aggressive. The man, who was found to be moderately intoxicated, was eventually arrested.
