Two teenagers injured in accident with e-scooter

Serious traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Innsbruck! Two teenagers crashed into a car on an electric scooter. A 17-year-old suffered minor injuries and his 18-year-old friend was seriously injured.

At around 12.15 p.m., a 34-year-old man turned into a free parking space in Andechsstraße. "This resulted in a collision with the driver of an electric scooter, who was riding north in the cycle lane," said the police.

Significant damage to property
The driver, a 17-year-old boy, and his 18-year-old companion on the pillion, fell onto the road as a result. "The 17-year-old suffered a minor injury, the 18-year-old a serious injury to her ankle," said the police. Both vehicles sustained considerable material damage.
