Glawischnig: “I agree with Kickl, the boat is full”
The current "TV duel" between Andreas Mölzer and Eva Glawischnig on krone.tv also dealt with Herbert Kickl's recent interview on krone.tv. According to the former Green Party frontwoman, Kickl was right on one point: "Yes, the right of asylum is broken in Europe. The sentence 'The boat is full' is understandable for me."
Glawischnig also emphasizes: "The fact that he constantly referred to all other parties as a single party is typical of Kickl." Mölzer reassures: "The word unity party is just an election campaign term. That is clear." Glawischnig is also disturbed by Kickl's succinct use of the word "people". He doesn't have any solution-oriented answers either: "The motto of the people versus the elites is too simple a story."
Mayoral run-off election in Salzburg
Another topic of discussion was the question of whether Salzburg will now become communist after the mayoral run-off election and the possible mayor Kay Michael Dankl. Glawischnig: "So far, Dankl has only shown a friendly face. But he hasn't provided any answers as to how things should proceed in the areas of education, women, the economy and location. But perhaps the friendly face is just a mask." Andreas Mölzer sees a possible communist city of Salzburg "in a league with North Korea, Nicaragua and Cuba." Dankl's behavior on the last election Sunday was also criticized by the duelists. Glawischnig: "I saw a lot of populism there. Because taking your own small child to the polls is a no-go."
You can see the two duelists' respective stances on this and many other political issues in the video above.
