Farmer crashes down a slope with his tractor

In Abtenau, a farmer lost control of his tractor with a trailer on a slope: the vehicle plunged down a slope and the man was thrown out.

Around mid-afternoon on Monday, a 62-year-old man was busy spreading manure on his field with a tractor and trailer in Abtenau. Then the tractor suddenly tipped over and dragged the trailer along the steep terrain. The farmer was thrown out of the cab and lay injured in the field.

His son called the ambulance. The man (62) was taken to Salzburg Regional Hospital by emergency helicopter.
