Oncoming lane: Biker crashes head-on into car

A terrible traffic accident on Sunday evening in the Tyrolean lowlands: a motorcyclist crossed into the oncoming lane in Niederndorferberg (Kufstein district) and crashed head-on into a car. The 22-year-old biker suffered serious injuries.

The accident happened in the late afternoon at around 5 pm. The 22-year-old German was riding his motorcycle on the B175 Wildbichler Straße coming from Bavaria in the direction of Niederndorf when he lost control on a bend and came onto the oncoming lane.

"There, the young man then crashed into an oncoming car," reported the police. The 22-year-old crashed and sustained serious injuries. 

After initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the seriously injured man was taken to Rosenheim Hospital by ambulance.
