Because of panic attack
Rioting again after conviction
The deterrent didn't work out so well: Just two days after a 19-year-old was allegedly convicted in court, the young man was again conspicuous to the police - he had smashed the glass door of a so-called bistro box in Bad Hall. The reason for this is surprising.
The 19-year-old from the Linz-Land district later told police officers that he had had a "panic attack". The young man had previously smashed the glass of the entrance door of a bistro box in Bad Hall on Friday evening, then jumped into a silver car and sped off with its driver.
Visited at home by police
Witnesses described the 19-year-old, which enabled the officers to track him down and meet him at his home. The rioter immediately confessed - and gave a panic attack as his motive. The young man is likely to be known to the police on several occasions: he is said to have been sentenced to a conditional prison sentence just two days earlier.
Drugs were also involved
His "escape helper" was also caught quite quickly after the incident with the glass door. A patrol stopped the silver car, in which sat an intoxicated 20-year-old, also from the Linz-Land district, who immediately admitted to having consumed marijuana and coke. The officers also found other narcotics in his vehicle. A clinical examination confirmed that the 20-year-old was unfit to drive and his driver's license was revoked. Both men were reported to the police.
