Carinthian woman arrested
Strike against anti-state movement: Arrest!
The handcuffs clicked for a Carinthian woman. She is said to be one of the leaders of the anti-state movement "Federal State of Prussia".
The movement has been under investigation in Carinthia since summer 2023. Investigators from the Carinthia State Office for State Protection and Counter-Extremism (LSE) and the police in Slovenia have now succeeded in striking a blow against this movement. "During several house searches, countless data carriers, documents, propaganda material and weapons were seized, and a large number of people were questioned," explains the police. In the course of the investigations, the self-proclaimed group made threats against public officials and their families. Officials from the public prosecutor's office in Klagenfurt were also threatened with the death penalty if the investigations were not closed.
Carinthian woman caught
A leading figure has now been identified. It is a 67-year-old woman from Carinthia. She was arrested on Wednesday in Slovenia, where she had gone into hiding after the police raid last summer. "The woman has to answer for several offenses. These include participation in an anti-state movement, its financing, dangerous threats, fraud, incitement and the trivialization of National Socialist crimes," announced Gerold Taschek from the State Office for State Protection and Counter-Extremism.
