Neutral flag for tennis pros from Russia!

Tennis pros from Russia and Belarus will be allowed to compete under a neutral flag at the Olympic Games in Paris and later at the Paralympics! 

This was announced by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) on Wednesday evening. Athletes may participate "in an individual and neutral capacity" if they fulfill the selection and participation requirements and comply with the regulations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

"The ITF's decision is in line with the majority of International Federations in relation to individual competitions and athletes taking part in the Paris 2024 Games this summer," the International Tennis Federation said in a statement.

This follows the custom on the ATP and WTA Tour, where the pros also compete under a neutral flag.
