Sad certainty prevails after a search operation near Attnang-Puchheim in Upper Austria: the volunteer fire department found the lifeless body of a 29-year-old Polish worker in a swamp on Wednesday morning. The young man is said to have lost his bearings due to a pre-existing illness. 

Tragic end to a search operation on Wednesday afternoon: a 29-year-old worker from Poland was found dead in a thicket. His father and brother had already missed him the previous evening and finally called the police in the morning.

State of emergency
According to the officers, the man, who was not familiar with the area, got lost in the swampy grass verge between the railroad tracks and the B1 federal highway not far from his workers' accommodation due to a health emergency, which ultimately led to his death.

No external fault
There are no signs of any outside involvement and his body has already been released. Rescue, police, fire department and search dog squad were deployed - a member of the volunteer fire department finally made the sad discovery.

Second death in two days
Another body was found on Tuesday, causing a stir. In Reichraming, two children reportedly found a male body in the river on the way to school. The results of the autopsy are expected on Thursday. Here, too, it is not assumed that the body was caused by someone else.
