“My way”: Jamie Foxx wants to tell all

Hollywood star Jamie Foxx wants to reveal details of his medical emergency last April. "But I have to do it my way," the US magazine "Variety" quoted the 56-year-old as saying on Sunday at an event organized by the African American Film Critics Association-an association of African-American film critics-in Los Angeles.

According to his family, the Oscar winner ("Ray") had to be treated in a clinic in April last year due to "medical complications".

Foxx has "gone through hell"
 Foxx and his family have not yet revealed what he was suffering from. In July, he explained to his fans in an emotional video that he had "gone through hell".

"I'm going to do it in a funny way"
"Everyone wants to know what happened and I'm going to tell you," Foxx now explained. "I'm going to do it in a funny way. We're going to be on stage. We're going to go back to our stand-up roots."

He wants to call the performance "What Happened" and it will include "all the things that happened". The actor emphasized on Sunday that he was grateful to have survived the incident.
