Ex Sam Ashgari opens up about marriage to Spears

Despite being divorced, Sam Asghari considers his relationship with Britney Spears a "blessing". He also revealed the reason for their sudden split last year.

Sam Asghari has nothing but kind words for his failed relationship with pop princess Britney Spears. It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a longer period of time, the model said in an interview with "People".

Asghari also emphasized that he does not hold anything against his ex and is instead happy about the time they spent together.

"People live apart"
He explained his decision to separate by saying: "People grow apart and move on." Spears probably doesn't have to worry about her ex washing dirty linen in public.

Asghari emphasized that he had always hated it when people broke up and talked about each other. "That's something I'll never do because I've had nothing but an amazing experience and a great life, and that will always be a part of my life, a chapter of my life," he told the magazine.

Spears was "a little shocked"
Spears and Asghari began dating in 2017 and married in 2022, shortly after Britney Spears freed herself from her father's guardianship. During the fight against her family, Asghari had always stood by his partner, even in public. In August last year, it was announced that Asghari had filed for divorce.

The separation apparently came as a surprise to Britney Spears. The singer announced on Instagram that she was "a little shocked". It is Spears' third failed marriage. In 2004, she was married to her childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours and from 2004 to 2007 to Kevin Federline, with whom she has sons Sean Preton and Jayden James.
