Despite the Standfest team's clear superiority on the pitch, it was only enough for a goalless draw at home against LASK. The Vorarlberg side missed a number of top-class scoring opportunities against pale visitors.

The duel between Altach and LASK, who are still winless in the spring, began with both sides feeling each other out. Consistent defensive work was more important than risky play towards the opponent's goal.

After a quarter of an hour, Standfest's team, coached by Roman Wallner, gave up their restraint and took advantage of the uncertainties in LASK's play to make many advances up to the break, which ended with nine shots on goal, but - due to their danger or inaccuracy (Fadinger, Koller, Gebauer) - without scoring. Linz left the initiative to the home team and waited for counter-attacking opportunities, which Altach did not offer them until the break.

Gebauer, who had been strong before the break, was better shielded and Altach's attacks became less frequent. In the end, it remained a goalless draw, which flattered Linz. On the other hand, the game against the harmless visitors once again highlighted the weaknesses in attack. "I have to make it 1:0, then things will look different. But at some point the button will open and we'll be rewarded for games like this," said Lukas Fadinger after the 0-0 draw against LASK.
