Fritz Strobl with us
Ski day on the Streif with the “Krone” and KitzSki
Next Sunday, March 10, "Krone" readers can explore the world-famous Streif & Co. With a real expert when it comes to what is probably the most spectacular downhill run in the world: Fritz Strobl.
This skiing event has already become a tradition: this year it is Sunday, March 10, when "Krone" and KitzSki invite you to a day of skiing. The aim is to explore the legendary Streif and the fantastic surrounding ski area.
Track record holder on board
Fritz Strobl, the course record holder, will also be there. The Carinthian always knows how to explain the key sections to readers in an inimitable way, with expert knowledge and humor. Peter Obernauer, race director many times over, has just as much to tell. The meeting point is at 10 a.m. at the Streif start house.
The prices are impressive, as the day ski pass for adults costs just 33 euros (a 50 percent discount). Young people (born between 2005 and 2007) pay 22 euros, children (born between 2008 and 2017) just eleven euros. Prerequisite: Participants must cut out the coupon in the "Tiroler Krone" (Friday edition) and redeem it at one of the cable car ticket offices.
Food and drink will of course also be provided - and at the same prices as in the past. The delicacies are available at lunchtime in the Pengelstein restaurant.
