Job change abroad
Board member resigns from handball club
Quake at the Salzburg handball club! After one season, managing director Patrick Fuchs resigns from his position. The UHC is thus losing an important man who saw a lot of potential in Salzburg. He could not turn down the job offer.
Patrick Fuchs is leaving Union Handball-Club Salzburg at the end of the season! The club caused a stir with this announcement on Friday evening. "Unfortunately, Patrick Fuchs will be leaving us for a job abroad at the end of the season and will therefore resign from his role as managing director for the coming season and will no longer be available as a player," the club wrote.
A surprising decision, as Fuchs, who moved to the city of Mozart from France, wanted to make a difference. "I see a lot of potential," he told the "Krone" newspaper in the fall.
Job offer was too good
But he couldn't turn down a very good job offer from the Netherlands. "My partner and I got a very good offer," Fuchs told the "Krone". He feels very sorry for the club: "I would really have liked to continue on the path we have taken myself. But I am convinced that the club can do it without me." He will still provide support in the search for a successor.
