Did a Ferrari mishap cost Leclerc pole?

Noticeable disappointment for Ferrari star Charles Leclerc after qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix: although he was only beaten by serial world champion Max Verstappen in the Red Bull, the Monegasque is struggling with a mishap by his team! A mishap that could have cost him pole position ... 

What is Leclerc concerned about? In the final section of qualifying, known as Q3, the Ferrari driver only had one fresh set of tires available. He had to complete his first attempt with used tires and was only able to fit the new ones for the "final".

"I'm a bit disappointed!"
According to Leclerc, this threw him off his rhythm somewhat, and he frankly declared: "I'm a bit disappointed!" Because, in his opinion, his Ferrari would definitely have been in pole position. Nevertheless: "It was a good qualifying session and we are definitely in a better position than last year ..."

Leclerc's displeasure seems quite understandable when you look at the lap times: While the Ferrari star had set the best time in Q2, a time that would have put him ahead of Verstappen in Q3, he then fell 0.228 seconds behind again in the qualifying final ...
