Three seriously injured after brawl on ski vacation
Three people were seriously injured in an altercation between five holidaymakers in the Upper Styrian ski resort of Schladming. There was a hail of punches and kicks - followed by arrests and charges!
The fight broke out in front of a pub at around 7.50 pm when a Dane (25) punched a German (36) in the head and kicked the head of the man who had fallen to the ground with a ski boot. The Dane was arrested.
The holidaymakers first got into a verbal argument before the 25-year-old Dane attacked the 36-year-old German. A 28-year-old Dane then allegedly kicked the German with his ski boot as he passed by. The latter suffered serious injuries as a result.
Main perpetrator arrested after manhunt
The 28-year-old Dane is also accused of punching another German (24) several times. Another Dane (25) is also alleged to have slightly injured a 37-year-old German with punches. Both victims were taken to hospital. The main offender was arrested after a short manhunt and taken to Leoben prison. The other two Scandinavians were charged.
