Snowboarders collided: German (38) injured

There was a crash on the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden in the Tyrolean Ötztal on Tuesday! Two German snowboarders (36 and 38 years old) collided with each other. One of the two sustained injuries in the "crash". The piste rescue team was called out. 

The accident happened at around 12.30 pm. The two snowboarders were skiing down a blue slope on the Rettenbach glacier towards the valley. "The 36-year-old made a right turn. The 38-year-old behind him was unable to take evasive action in time," said the executive.

The 38-year-old had to be rescued by the piste rescue team.
