Ex-spy spills the beans
Kim Jong-un should hide his son: he is “too thin”
For some time now, North Korea's dictator has enjoyed showing off his daughter Ju Ae at public events. But Kim Jong Un is also said to have a biological son, whom he hides from his people. The bizarre reason: the boy is said to be "too thin" in the eyes of the tyrant.
A former official of the South Korean intelligence service recently divulged the explosive information. Choe Su Yong claimed that the dictator of his neighboring country also had a son that his people knew nothing about. According to the ex-spy, the North Korean leader was embarrassed by "his unattractive appearance".
"Unlike his father or sister, who are plump and well-fed, Kim's son is said to be pale and thin," Su Yong told the Korea Times. He added: "I have heard that his son looks nothing like his great-grandfather Kim Il Sung." A resemblance to the obese founder of the nation is considered a valuable attribute in the family.
Daughter's appearance could give her an advantage in the pecking order
It is assumed that Kim Jong Un is also trying to emphasize his resemblance to his grandfather in order to strengthen his own legitimacy. His daughter Ju Ae fits well into this picture, as the girl is not exactly thin either. As she also resembles the dictator in her facial features, it could be that this is why he has decided to establish his daughter as his successor and future ruler. They like to appear in public in matching outfits.
One picture showing the two in their partner leather look is particularly symbolic: the girl can be seen in front of the North Korean leader, partially covering him. "It is unprecedented in the status-obsessed North to publish a photo with Kim Jong Un in the background," wondered one South Korean newspaper.
Only presented to the public just under a year ago
The girl is said to be home-schooled and passionate about skiing and horses. At the end of 2022, she appeared in public for the first time alongside her father. The festive occasion: the test of a ballistic missile. No one had ever heard of the daughter before she was introduced by the tightly controlled state media as the tyrant's "favorite child".
