Man (22) stabs opponent several times

After a bloody knife attack in the East Asylum Care Center in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria), one of the two opponents is fighting for his life. The attack was preceded by an argument.

The bloody attack in Traiskirchen called the police to the scene on Monday evening at around 7.20 pm: an argument between two refugees at the East Care Center ended with one of them seriously injured.

Argument escalated
A 22-year-old Moroccan man armed with a knife attacked his opponent. He stabbed the Libyan several times, hitting him mainly in the abdominal area. The 24-year-old's life was initially in danger. He was taken to hospital by an emergency doctor and underwent emergency surgery. The attack was preceded by an argument between the two men. 

Arrested for attempted murder
The 22-year-old initially managed to escape. However, he was caught by officers from the Traiskirchen police station during an immediate manhunt. He was arrested for attempted murder. The investigation was taken over by the Lower Austrian State Office of Criminal Investigation.
