Coke, stolen license plates and no driver’s license

An aggressive driving style drew the attention of the police to a 38-year-old in the city of Salzburg. During the check, it turned out that the driver had committed several offenses.

A 38-year-old Syrian citizen was stopped by the police in the city of Salzburg on Sunday evening due to his aggressive driving. The subsequent driver and vehicle check revealed several offenses.

License plate stolen
The driver's alcohol test was negative, but a rapid saliva test reacted positively to cocaine. A clinical examination was refused. In addition, the man was unable to produce a valid driver's license or credibly demonstrate that he was in possession of a driving license. The car he was driving was also not registered for traffic.

Investigations revealed that the license plates mounted on the vehicle had been reported stolen. The 38-year-old Syrian will now be reported to the relevant authorities.
