150 firefighters fought a warehouse fire
Numerous fire departments had to deploy to a spectacular operation in the Tyrolean district of Imst on Friday night! A warehouse in Ötztal Bahnhof caught fire. The damage is likely to be enormous. A transformer and a low-voltage power line were also damaged.
A fire on a company premises in Ötztal Bahnhof developed into a real major operation on Friday at around 9.35 p.m. A fire had broken out there for as yet unexplained reasons. "When the first fire department arrived, the approx. 220 m² warehouse was already fully engulfed in flames", according to the police.
At the time of the fire, there were several tons of agricultural products and a trailer inside. In addition to the building, these were also completely destroyed. The fire also damaged a Tinetz transformer station and a low-voltage power line.
Enormous damage, 150 firefighters in action
The damage is likely to amount to over 100,000 euros. Fortunately, no one was injured. Around 150 firefighters from the Ötztal Bahnhof, Haiming, Haimingerberg, Silz, Roppen and Imst fire departments were deployed, as well as a rescue service, Tinetz employees and the police.
