Teenagers allegedly raped 13-year-old girl

Seven young men and teenagers have now been arrested in Sicily for their alleged involvement in the gang rape of a 13-year-old girl. At least two of them are said to have been directly involved in the crime, while others held the girl's boyfriend.

According to the Italian police, the crime took place in the toilet of a public park in the Sicilian city of Catania. According to initial investigations, the 13-year-old girl and her 17-year-old boyfriend were harassed by the group of seven in the toilet last Tuesday evening. The teenager was then beaten up and held down by five of the young men, while the girl was raped by the other two.

In the end, the youths managed to escape. Following the incident, the police have now arrested three minors and four young men.
