Man threatened to kill his girlfriend

On Thursday evening, a 49-year-old man and his 60-year-old girlfriend got into an argument in Vienna-Penzing. He smashed a door and threatened to kill her.

The situation escalated at around 10 p.m. on Thursday in an apartment in the Penzing district when a 49-year-old man, who was under the influence of alcohol, got into an argument with his 60-year-old partner. During the argument, the man allegedly smashed a glass door and threatened to kill his partner. The woman then immediately alerted the police.

Arrest and weapons ban
Police officers from the Wurmsergasse police station quickly arrived at the scene and were able to arrest the aggressive and extremely uncooperative 49-year-old. During the arrest, the officers determined that the suspect had a breath alcohol level of 1.5 per mille. As a consequence, he was banned from entering and approaching the premises and a temporary weapons ban was imposed to prevent further potential danger.
