Overlooked by driver

Viennese woman (79) hit by car and seriously injured

On Thursday afternoon, a 79-year-old Viennese woman was hit by a car in Vienna's Ru-dolfsheim-Fünfhaus district. The emergency services took her to hospital immediately.

The 62-year-old was driving his car at around 6 p.m. when the 79-year-old suddenly tried to cross the road in Löschenkohlgasse. According to the police, he probably overlooked the woman and there was a collision.

Knocked to the ground
The pensioner was knocked to the ground and seriously injured. The seriously injured woman was taken to hospital by the Vienna Professional Rescue Service.
