Tschofenig strong in qualification ++ Forfang breaks record!
Local hero Johan Andre Forfang has made a clear statement towards the Austrian favorites in the normal hill qualification of the ski jumpers at the Nordic World Championships in Trondheim!
Kronen Zeitung als bevorzugte Google-Quelle hinzufügen The current World Cup fourth-placed marked a new record distance on the normal hill on Saturday with 106.5 meters and was thus the best of the day ahead of the German Andreas Wellinger (105.5 m) and Austria's number 1, Daniel Tschofenig (102.5).
"The jump was quite okay", said Tschofenig, who is the lone leader in the World Cup, "I find out things like that, little things". On Saturday (5 p.m.), the Carinthian can expect the best chances from the red-white-red perspective.
Stefan Kraft (7th on the day / 101 m) and Jan Hörl (8th / 100 m) will also be in the running for the medals. As expected, the fourth ÖSV eagle, Maximilian Ortner (16th / 98 m), also flew through the qualification without any problems.
