Posch misses out on 2nd place with Atalanta!

Nothing happened with the "ascent" in the table: Atalanta Bergamo, employer of ÖFB team defender Stefan Posch, missed the jump to second place in Serie A with a home 0:0 against SSC Venezia!

Despite clear advantages in the game - the statistics showed Atalanta to be stronger with 18:8 shots on goal and 59 percent possession - the home side were unable to put a goal past the league's penultimate team.

Posch, who only moved to Bergamo from FC Bologna a few weeks ago, started on the right side of the back three and was replaced by attacking force Mario Pašalić in the 73rd minute. The 0-0 draw against Venezia was Atalanta's fifth consecutive home game without a win in Serie A - in addition to four draws, they had also lost 3-2 to Napoli on 18 January.

Inter squandered victory in Naples
Inter Milan remain top of the Serie A table, but failed to extend their lead to four points. The defending champions were held to a 1-1 draw in the clash with first-placed SSC Napoli after leading for a long time.

Federico Dimarco sank a free-kick from just over 20 meters into the corner of the net (22'), but substitute Philip Billing rescued Napoli a point (87'). Marko Arnautovic did not play for Inter. Napoli are winless in five league games, but the southern Italians are still just one point off the top.
