The 20-year-old who allegedly sold his 17-year-old girlfriend to up to a hundred clients is not a clean fruit, but rather really rotten fruit. But this is not the young accused's only sin. He is also alleged to have been involved in at least 18 burglaries, mostly in schools. 

"It was a mistake and I want to do better in the future," said a 20-year-old defendant last Thursday after his sentencing before the judge at Wels Regional Court. He allegedly offered his then 17-year-old girlfriend to up to 100 older clients via a cell phone app for around a year, even though she did not want it.

Two years in prison
However, he always collected the shameful payment of around 300,000 euros and spent it on going out, traveling and expensive cars. In criminal law, this is called "prostitution of minors and pimping" - for which he was sentenced to two years in prison, eight months of which were unconditional.

Not the only offense
He should urgently take his aforementioned intent to heart, as the current conviction is not the only offense the unemployed man is facing. He has been in custody since January 1st because he is suspected of being involved in at least 18 burglaries, mostly in educational establishments.

According to the public prosecutor's office in Wels, the period of offense was from December 2024 to January 2025 and he is being investigated for aggravated commercial theft by burglary. However, the list of offenses is not yet complete, as two proceedings had already been settled by diversion before his acquaintance with the judge.
