Shock for a car owner in Elbigenalp in the district of Reutte: Unknown persons apparently took the car for a spin and left it damaged. The perpetrators did not have a hard time ...

In the morning hours of Sunday, between 4 and 6 a.m., the as yet unknown perpetrators took the car in Elbigenalp without authorization. The owner had left the vehicle unlocked in the "Lechtaler Haussegen" parking lot and the key was inside.

The car was found parked in a parking lot not far from the scene of the crime with a damaged wheel rim.

Act of vandalism also at nearby restaurant
During the same period, a window pane was smashed at a pub near the crime scene. This crime was probably also committed by the same perpetrators. Investigations are ongoing.
