Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Tennengau in the provincial capital on Thursday. The man had previously been observed handing over drugs in an underground parking garage. Both parties involved had initially fled. 

The 37-year-old was arrested shortly afterwards. The second person involved is still on the run.

The man from Tennengau had around 500 grams of amphetamines and ecstasy as well as 400 euros in cash in his rucksack. Both were seized.

The accused doesn't take the rules very seriously: in the fall of 2024, the man known to the authorities did not return to the Salzburg prison after going out. He has now been ordered back there by the public prosecutor's office.
