Stabbing in asylum accommodation

An argument broke out between two Ukrainians in an asylum center in the Principality of Liechtenstein on Monday. One of the two was seriously injured by a knife. 

The emergency services were alerted at around 5 p.m. on Monday - an argument had broken out between two men from Ukraine in an asylum shelter in Triesen. Both brawlers were injured, one seriously by a knife and had to be flown to hospital by helicopter.

The exact course of events and the cause of the dispute are still the subject of police investigations, according to the police. In any case, the suspect was arrested and taken to the police station in Vaduz.
