How carnival was saved in Feldkirchen

"Guests can expect dancing, music and cabaret!" says Pecile. Udo Wenders will make sure of that!(Bild: bepo - Bernhard Pölzl)

No carnival in Feldkirchen? That threatened the Tibelstadt! But without further ado, the town's marketing department stomped a revue out of the ground.

MF Marketing spent more than 20,000 euros to save the carnival in the district capital after all. "The carnival club had to take an artistic break for various reasons," explains city marketing boss Andrea Pecile in an interview with Krone. Bad news for all carnival fans in the Tibelstadt.

"A district capital without carnival sessions - that's unacceptable," says Mayor Martin Treffner. And so MF Marketing put together a rousing "carnival revue" within a month: "The program promises entertainment at the highest level. An evening that brings the carnival season in Feldkirchen to life," promises Pecile, who was able to attract well-known names for the three dates.

You can look forward to a varied evening with:

• Udo Wenders
• Manfred Tisal as EU farmer
• the Pisten Pepe
• the Roder Sepp
• Achim Auer as Luis from South Tyrol
• ABBA show with LTM
• The Tiger Show
• Choreo District - Tanzatelier
• Tara Brauner Dance Academy

Familiar faces on stage
For example, Manfred Tisal as the EU farmer, Pisten Pepe, Roder Sepp and singer Udo Wenders want to make the audience laugh and be amazed. "Guests can expect dance, music and cabaret!" This year's content will once again be very regional.

Ticket sales also show that the people of Feldkirchen don't want to miss out on the carnival. "Two out of three dates are already sold out," says Pecile happily. So if you're quick, you can still secure seats for Thursday, February 20, and work out your laughing muscles from 8 pm. For information call 0664/16 91 200.
