Perpetrator on the run in Vienna

Stabbed in the head: boy (16) in hospital

In the midday hours, an argument in Vienna's Landstraßer Würtzlerstraße escalated. A teenager was left with stab wounds to the head. His tormentors were able to flee for the time being - there is also no trace of the murder weapon. 

The Vienna police received an alarm at around 12.30 pm. It was reported that a young boy aged 16 had been attacked with a knife and was bleeding heavily. When the emergency services arrived in Würtzlerstraße, there was no trace of the perpetrators. They are described as two teenagers. It is still unknown whether there was an argument or whether the victim and the perpetrators knew each other. 

According to police spokesman Markus Dittrich, the teenager was superficially injured on the head. He was immediately taken to hospital and is being treated as an outpatient. According to "Krone" information, there is no danger to life. A manhunt is currently underway for the suspects.
