My mom attacked me with these phrases on the phone when I told her about my ice bathing plans. As a hot shower enthusiast, summer lover and fan of long baths with the scent of lavender and classical music, I had to think twice about plunging into frosty climes.
But - you shouldn't leave anything or much untried, especially if your health can benefit from it. In a weak moment, I had talked myself into jumping into the cold water - it sounds like an adventure. And after all, adventure is the salt in the soup of life. Unless the soup is 4.5 degrees.
