Shocking incident in Vienna-Hernals: A 21-year-old man is said to have beaten his pregnant partner and threatened her with a knife on Saturday afternoon after family members tried to expel him from the apartment. The question of the murder weapon remains unanswered.

A 21-year-old man is suspected of beating his pregnant partner and threatening her with a knife. The escalation is said to have begun when relatives of the woman tried to order the man out of the apartment.

Knife not yet found
The police were alerted and arrested the suspect for the time being. No knife could be found on the suspect or at the scene of the crime. Nevertheless, he was banned from entering and approaching the house and a temporary weapons ban was issued.
