Supermarket burglary: perpetrators ransack safe

Burglary alarm on Wednesday evening in the Tyrolean Oberland: Unknown perpetrators forced their way into a supermarket and broke open the safe in the office. The criminals grabbed the cash and then fled the scene. There is no trace of them so far.

The scene of the burglary was a grocery store in Imst. At around 9.45 p.m. on Christmas Day, unknown persons gained access to the building by breaking open the door to the storeroom with a tool.

Perpetrators fled with cash
The criminals then broke open a safe in the office premises. It is still unclear how much cash the unknown perpetrators managed to steal. Investigations are underway to identify the perpetrators.
