“Sharp edges” spoil Christmas for customers

HOFER and its supplier ASCE - ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH are recalling the items "CROFTON special cutlery 16-piece" and "CROFTON cutlery set 24-piece" due to a possible risk of injury from "sharp edges".

The products "CROFTON special cutlery 16-piece" and "CROFTON cutlery set 24-piece" of the supplier ASCE - ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH are recalled by the supplier ASCE - ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH and HOFER KG for reasons of precautionary consumer protection.

In some cases, there is a risk that cutlery parts may have sharp edges that could cause injury during use. For this reason, the product must no longer be used.

Sales stopped, customers get their money back
The products were available in all HOFER KG stores in Austria from 9.12.2024. The sale of the product was stopped immediately. The products can be returned to all HOFER stores. Customers will be refunded the purchase price even without proof of purchase.
