Roland Drexler probably took his own life on the day of his bloody deed - according to a forensic medical report. However, his getaway car was only found four days later and his body another day later. What happened in the meantime? The police give the "Krone" some answers.

On October 28, the Mühlviertel community of Altenfelden turned into a high-security zone. In the early hours of the morning, hunter Roland Drexler (56) first shot the mayor of the neighboring Upper Austrian village of Kirchberg ob der Donau and then drove to Arnreit, where he also killed a retired police officer. Drexler then disappeared, later making headlines around the world as the "Amok Hunter".
