Britney Spears wants understanding for sadness

Britney Spears wishes online trolls knew how "serious" her sadness is.

The 43-year-old pop icon, who regained control of her multimillion-dollar fortune as well as other aspects of her life and career when a conservatorship run by her family was terminated in 2021, faced a lot of "mean things" online after she uploaded a video of herself dancing.

She was even forced to remove the video altogether, claiming it was a "miracle from God" that she was dancing at all.

"Makes me sad"
She wrote on Instagram: "Another outing, but this time a smaller boat. Frankly, I like the smaller one a little better. I made the video of me dancing because so many people have said so many mean things. If only they knew how big my sadness is. It's a miracle from God that I played and danced, period. It's crazy!"

At first, she didn't even think she would go on the trip: "I was that sad. But I immediately saw the sea, the little hotel that looks like an apartment and the breakfast table in the pool."

About the trolls, she says: "When I got home last night, I thought: WTF!!! I wrote down all my work, then of course I looked through my phone and was like, Damn, there's so much I haven't even shown yet, but it makes me sad that people say mean things about me."
