Woman reached into machine: Part of finger severed

Serious accident at work on Tuesday morning at a company in Hall in Tyrol! Part of a 45-year-old woman's finger was severed while she was working on an assembly line. She was reaching into a machine with one hand.

The worker was working on the assembly line at the company in Hall in Tirol at around 11.40 a.m. on Tuesday. "In the course of this, the 45-year-old reached into the inside of the machine there with her right hand," said the police.

Taken to hospital in Innsbruck
The woman's little finger was caught by a part of the machine and severed at the level of the second phalanx. The injured woman was taken to Innsbruck Hospital by the ambulance service.
