First candidates for the jungle camp are confirmed

The rumors have been confirmed: Lilly Becker and reality star Maurice Dziwak are officially the first participants in this year's season of "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" (IBES) have been confirmed. 

As the private broadcaster RTL announced, the two will take part in the 18th season from January 24.

In the announcement video, 48-year-old Lilly Becker, ex-wife of tennis legend Boris Becker, already addressed her potential role in the camp: she does not want to be the team mom. There is talk of a mega salary that Becker is said to have negotiated for himself.

"I'm a full-time mom, that's why I'm going into the jungle - just to not be a mom for once," she emphasized in the run-up to the show. At the same time, she wants to show her son what his mother can do. She has already taken part in the reality format "Global Gladiators".

"Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" draws millions of viewers to their TV screens every year to watch celebrities eat kangaroo testicles and other tests - and, of course, to enjoy the many arguments between the campers.
